The Yale Pediatric Allergy & Immunology Clinic
The Yale Pediatric Allergy and Immunology Clinic evaluates, diagnoses, and treats patients with a variety of allergic diseases including asthma and food allergy, as well as primary (inherited) immunodeficiency diseases. The clinic is located in the Pediatric Specialty Clinic at Yale-New Haven Children's Hospital (Map and Directions). The Yale Pediatric Asthma Program provides comprehensive, multidisciplinary care to the asthmatic child. The Jeffrey Modell Foundation has designated our center as a Jeffrey Modell Diagnostic Center for Primary Immunodeficiencies, along with nineteen other centers worldwide.
Immunology Research includes the study of the mechanisms underlying infection with the yeast Candida albicans, the molecular basis and therapy of primary immunodeficiency disease, and the manner by which asthma care is provided to underserved patient populations.
